First Presbyterian Church of Orlando is the church that the Heart of the City Foundation was birthed out of. The congregation strives to embody the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

The Orlando Heart of the City Fellows is a Christ-centered, character formation program for recent college graduates based in First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. Their mission is to prepare fellows to live seamless lives of faith and ‘start well.’
The Christ School is an Orlando Christian private school that operates out of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. Their mission is to equip young scholars—kindergarten through eighth grade—with a strong Christian education with an emphasis on academic excellence and exploring their passions.
The Weekday School is a part-time preschool for children ages two and a half to five years old. Their mission is to create a loving, Christian environment where children can learn through play.
Since May 2008, IDignity Orlando has hosted monthly Identification Clinics where governmental partners and more than 120 volunteers serve over 200 people in need. At these events, qualified clients can get a Florida birth certificate, as well as a Florida ID (or license renewal). They also offer clients help with getting a Social Security card or verification information.
The documents IDignity obtains for clients give the clients the freedom to apply for work or school, gain access to shelters, seek help from social service programs, open a bank account or cash a check, secure permanent housing, or overcome many other obstacles to being self-sufficient.
Commission 127’s mission is to equip the body of Christ to love & support foster & adoptive families within local churches and surrounding neighborhoods. They equip churches to raise awareness around the needs of vulnerable children, help prevent children from going into foster care by supporting biological families in need, recruit and equip foster & adoptive families, and create “care communities” for those caring for “at-risk” kids.
Samaritan Village is a safe home and therapeutic program for adult survivors of sex trafficking. Their mission is to provide a safe place where sexually trafficked women can heal from trauma, recover from addiction, and reclaim their lives to become catalysts for change in their communities. Samaritan Village offers a long-term, trauma informed, and holistic care model of rehabilitation for survivors.
Through monthly learning sessions, inspirational guest speakers, community initiatives, and engaging content, Lifework Leadership examines the life and teachings of Christ to embolden a new generation of purposeful, impactful leaders.
The Jobs Partnership of Florida was formed to address the issue of poverty through strategic and collaborative employment initiatives. They prepare people for life and work using Biblical principles.
Grace Medical Home’s mission is to be a medical home reflecting the heart of Christ by offering the highest level of health care to those in our community who need it most. They want to close the gap between those who enjoy quality medical care and those who do not.
For over 25 years, Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida has prepared pastors, teachers, counselors, and missionaries through a program of graduate theological education that is rooted in God’s authoritative and all-sufficient Word, informed by the riches of Christianity’s Reformed heritage, and aimed at the glory of God and the good of his people.
Choices Women’s Clinic exists to encourage and equip women and men to make informed pregnancy decisions. They do not benefit financially from any decision a patient makes and they do not charge for their services. They believe that women and men are capable of making their own choices when given accurate information.
One Purse’s mission is to provide sex trafficking survivors with transformative programs, mentorship opportunities, and scholarship resources. Using the power of the purse, they mobilize women in their local communities to combat one of the greatest human rights issues of our time, and give survivors resources to empower them to have a sustainable future.
Arts Fellowship Orlando is a six-month residency where artists explore the intersection between their faith and their art. It exists to celebrate, engage, and grow Christ-centered artists as they develop their role in God’s greater story of redemption and restoration—through theological training, spiritual formation, and professional mentorship.
Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries is a Christ-centered maternity home for single pregnant women in crisis. They offer a safe, stable place to call home for expectant and postpartum mothers with a maternity home as well as a transition home. They also offer career, parenting, and life skills education opportunities.
Kids Across America is a summer camp for urban youth, with a mission to transform their lives through the message of Jesus Christ. Their mission is to build Christian leaders by encouraging, equipping, and empowering urban youth and their mentors through camping and education.
Fort Barachel Foundation’s mission is to create a safe place to ride, climb, belong, and serve. They provide a positive culture within the action sports community for children to learn how to ride BMX bikes and skateboards while also learning about God. They also work in Burundi to provide Christ-centered sports opportunities to children as well as uplift the people of Burundi through community investment.
Serve Orlando helps the helpers find easy and affordable ways to serve in Central Florida. They partner with incredible local organizations to figure out what they need and how others can help, so that people can make a long-lasting impact on those in need.
Thirdmill makes seminary-level education available to Evangelical Christian leaders in their own lands, in their own languages, for free. They create and distribute high-quality, multimedia seminary curriculum in the major languages of the world, approved by their expert faculty of Ph.D.s and Th.D.s.
Young Life College offers summer camp staff opportunities to college students where they can work hard and experience life-changing community, build their resume while growing deeper in their faith, and help kids have the best week of their life.
Paving the Way Foundation empowers communities to be a fierce disruption in the cycle of child trafficking and exploitation by empowering children, parents and businesses through education and awareness training programs.
Jerusalem Evangelical Outreach is a non-denominational ministry based in Jerusalem. Founded in 1989, JEO seeks to reach young Arabs in the Holy Land with the love of Christ. Our projects include media production and distribution, relief work, educational field trips and community development.
Christian HELP is a Christian, non-profit organization located in Central Florida. They are passionate about helping all people find work and keep it. For 31 years they have provided free resources to the unemployed and underemployed in our area. They connect job seekers with the tools they need, from resume assistance to interview preparation to job leads and more. All the while, they provide food for job seekers’ families, encouragement and prayer.
Central Florida Fellowship of Christian Athletes exists to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. They pursue this vision by leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
